Intro II 01:00
Hey little lady, what'd you come here for This isn't the place for you Take your body out Of the memories you found On the floor of the hotel room This world's not as bad as you told me it'd be This isn't as hard As you'd have me believe I want to love you, but you're exhausting
2.
Watertown 02:22
Honey, can't you see you're bringing me down I don't like the way you sound When your voice gets too loud Darling, I am sick and tired of the fighting How far can we spin out before righting I feel like a broken record, spinning round and round I can hear myself repeating, but I can't stop the sound Lately you've been looking like an old house With a leaky, leaky roof Wallpaper torn and peeling Where the kids stole a piece for proof They wanted to show that they had been there They wanted their friends to know But why does it matter if no one lives there Why does it count if no one's home
3.
River Hymn 01:36
Stay here with me, sit by the river Here in the sweet mint and thyme Honey, I've got no time for you Rivers still run, the sun is still the sun But honey, I'm not in love with you I hate to say, the love has gone away It caught the wind that dragged it down the plains Lay me down, run with the river Down to the state borderline Honey, i'd never lie to you Nights come and go, the sun turns to snow But I can't make myself love you I wish that I could keep you safe from harm But honey, you will never have my heart
4.
Revelations 02:21
There's no easy way around this Just hide me in the closet Like you always do There's no easy way to say this You make your bed, and you lay in it We do what we have to do If you never hear another word that comes from my mouth, All I ask is just hear me out Everyone's doing everything they can, This world is cruel Just because we hurt you, doesn't mean we meant to There's no easy way to say this You pick your battles and make stupid choices You had everything you wanted, What made you walk away from it? It makes no sense for you to leave, You've seen everything there is to see Oh well, that's fine It's not my life There's always something you can't get right There's no easy way to say this You're always gonna hide me in the closet You're always gonna make stupid choices Someday you'll lose everything you wanted And then you'll blame it on me Say it's my fault I didn't stick around to see But I'm not sorry, if I had You would have ruined me

about

This EP is a collection of four songs that took me four years to make. Some came easier than others, but all took hell to complete. Each song was written at different points over the last four years, the first being revelations and the last being Intro II. This project is my heart and soul. Enjoy.
